About Me

Hi there! I am so happy that you popped by! I'm Brittni, owner and lead photographer of Brittni Renae Photography & Design. I am happily married and have 2 amazing little ones. I'm a fast food junkie, lover of Jesus, Harry Potter, Vodka and all the dogs (we have 3).

I'd love to say that I have known that photography is something I have always wanted to do, but that isn't the case. The creative world has always been a love of mine and has come pretty naturally, but it is also something I viewed more as a passion, hobby or stress outlet. If you asked me 10 years ago if I saw myself as a small-business owner in the creative industry, I'd probably say, "ya...right. In my dreams!"

Here I am, (in large part thanks to my husband for thinking I can do anything), living that dream. I had recently left my full-time insurance job to begin my new stay-at-home mom gig (2 kids, 1 and under). Don't get me wrong, my kids are my life, buuut I also craved more than changing diapers and endless laundry. My husband bought a camera for me as a gift, knowing that I enjoyed photography. Let's just say he had more confidence in me...than me and his gift was really an investment. I was blessed to be given my first job by a wonderful photographer, mentor and now dear friend. Now, I'm a mom-boss, loving every bit of this amazing thing I get to call a career. It wasn't easy, but definitely worth it...annnd that my friends is how I became a photographic storyteller.
